Junipero Serra and La Virgen de Guadalupe Endorse Trump

Mrs. Clinton’s agenda poses an existential threat to the Christian way of life. She identifies religion as a source of inequality and nastily insists that “deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed.” In other words, Catholics, Evangelicals and Baptists are modern versions of prehistoric troglodytes. She has effectively tossed Latinos into the “basket of deplorables” by calling all Hispanic-Americans a bunch of bungling nitwits open to manipulation.

The statue of the Spanish missionary Junípero Serra donated by the state of California in 1931 to National Statuary Hall of the Capitol Rotunda in Washington is in danger of being removed.

John Podesta, Chairman of the 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, has spilled the beans. He writes for all to see that Latinos, who are predominately Christians, are “needy” and “backwards” because of their religious beliefs. Mrs. Clinton and her team’s crude anti-Christian ideology is finally on display for everyone to see, and it is dangerous.

Does anyone think that most Latinos do not understand what is at stake in this election? Mrs. Clinton and her radicalDemocratic allies aim to purge from Latino neighborhoods – mainly through the Supreme Court – the Judeo-Christian values that made America great and which Hispanic-Americans cherish. You can be sure that Mrs. Clinton’s Supreme Court will go to war with Christian values – which means with Latinos.

Mrs. Clinton’s dangerous ideology aims to turn churches into social clubs as happened in Cuba after the Castro Revolution in 1959. In time, Mrs. Clinton will unleash her own anti-Christian thugs and go so far as to confiscate religious images and icons. La Virgen de Guadalupe will be forced to go underground. In contrast, Latinos can be sure that forced de-Christianization will not happen under Mr. Trump.

Why vote for Mrs. Clinton when she violates our Christian consciences on issues concerning life and marriage? Christian holidays such as Lent, Holy Week, Christmas and the Three Kings are sturdy reminders of our Latino heritage. Hispanic Americans see religion as a way to nurture family life, human virtues and society. Do Latinos really want radical Democratic ideologues to replace our sacred traditions and religious ceremonies with secular rituals that torpedo our culture?

Hispanic-Americans are increasingly outraged by Mrs. Clinton’s condescending tactics to win the Latino vote, as if Mexicans, Salvadorans, Cubans, Venezuelans, Puerto Ricans or Ecuadorians were a bunch of mindless fools. Latinos, rather, are self-confident, diligent, smart, noble and insightful. Do you think that Latinos fail to recognize baloney and balderdash when they see it?

Latinos, who represent some 15% of the U.S. armed services, have sacrificed their lives in the tens of thousands to defend the founding principles of this Christian-inspired nation. Do you think Latinos are dying in those numbers just for the money?

Since the 1980s, billions of dollars have been spent in addressing minority problems in America. And what is the state of play? Latino neighborhoods (not all) are plagued with crime and drugs; hopelessness and resentment abound, especially as schools are in decline and communities divided. Is Mr. Trump responsible for this mess?

Who is to blame for the growing disintegration and culture of dependence in the Latino community? Who uses the victimization and race cards? Mrs. Clinton or Mr. Trump?

Mrs. Clinton sees Latinos as a voting block rather than as a people in love with the United States and its tradition of religious freedom. Make no mistake about it – the idea of human dignity itself is directly linked to the profoundly Christian concept that all men and women, in some mysterious way, are in the image and likeness of God. Do you think that Hispanic Americans are blind to Mrs. Clinton’s anti-Christian anti-Latino game plan?

Does anyone really think that Mrs. Clinton will not appoint a Supreme Court entirely hostile to Latino religious culture and beliefs? You can be sure that Christian symbols will disappear from the public square, including the statue of Junípero Serra at the U.S. Capital. You can be sure that Mr. Trump will not undermine the Latino community’s rich Christian culture and values. Mr. Trump is no ideologue.

Who do you think California’s own Junípero Serra and La Virgen de Guadalupe are counting on to win the election?
