The enthusiasm in the room was galvanizing and it was an ideal discourse to prepare for the RNC finale with unforgettable orations by Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Pastor Mark Burns, Tom Barrack, Ivanka Trump, and Donald Trump, the Republican nominee for President of the United States. Their full speeches speak for themselves – Donald Trump is with you, Donald Trump is with American greatness, and Donald Trump is with the movement to take back the White House.

CLEVELAND – My final day of the convention began with the Pennsylvania Delegation breakfast where every seat was filled with either Republicans or the Press in anticipation of a surprise visit from Governor Mike Pence, the Vice Presidential nominee for the Republican Party.
The speakers included a variety of people who enlightened the audience. Hollywood Star John Ratzenberger of Cheers started the day retelling the memories of growing up in his Bridgeport, Connecticut town and lamenting that we now lack the trained skilled labor we once had in America. He claimed no one was training our youth how to fix or build things through manual labor – he confessed that with his skills from high school he had built the stage for the infamous Woodstock Festival in 1969, not knowing what was about to transpire.
Congressman Mike Kelly (PA-3rd District) gave a rousing pep talk that was met with tremendous cheers proclaiming, “You’ve got to go through Pennsylvania to get to the White House!”
He compared this election year to the football training he received as a young man; his coach told him, ‘You don’t get off the block until you hear the echo of the whistle!’
Congressman Kelly compared the echo of the whistle for us to November 9, 2016, commanding the crowd that we cannot get off the block until the day after Election Day, “If you want to make America great, we need to win the Keystone State! We need to win again!” Pennsylvania At-Large Delegate and Legal Counsel for the PAGOP, Lawrence Tabas quipped Congressman “Kelly’s speech was better than a third cup of coffee.”
State Senator Wagner’s remarks were referenced from the previous breakfast (third day) where he emphasized the energy in Cleveland, the energy there in the room, and the energy in Pennsylvania, but particularly the political will to pursue energy independence.
The death by regulatory paper cuts on the energy business is limiting the potential of our Commonwealth, and the Senator’s personal business he started with two employees now has over 400. The regulations in the waste business now require him to hire 12 different lawyers. To Wagner, state and federal regulations are out of control, “This is all out war with Hillary Rodham Clinton…the government has become the enemy of business.” Wagner, a frustrated entrepreneur who ran the toughest write-in campaign in the history of Pennsylvania and won, is often compared to Trump.
Then we heard from Congressmen Thunder (Lou Barletta) and Lightning (Tom Marino), as they joked that the former scares people and the latter hurts people. Marino has been invited to the White House about a dozen times by Obama and he doesn’t accept the invitation, so he is politically motivated to get Trump in the White House.
Governor Mike Pence was received to the breakfast with a standing ovation, and all who had watched his nomination acceptance speech the day before were delighted with what he had to say. Pence went straight to his main theme explaining, “We don’t need a President who promises to put coal miners and coal companies out of business. We need a President who digs coal and Donald Trump digs coal!”
The enthusiasm in the room was galvanizing and it was an ideal discourse to prepare for the RNC finale that evening with unforgettable orations by Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Pastor Mark Burns, Tom Barrack, Ivanka Trump, and Donald Trump, the Republican nominee for President of the United States. Their full speeches speak for themselves – Donald Trump is with you, Donald Trump is with American greatness, and Donald Trump is with the movement to take back the White House.
